3G pitches in major cups

Hi folks as i am new to this forum please be gentle

what is your opinion on teams playing Scottish and west cup ties on 3G surfaces when the weather has been fairly mild the past couple of weeks . Teams who nether play or train on 3G are put under a considerable disadvantage against teams who regularly play and train on the surface . Surley teams should try and play the tie first on grass and 3G as a second option .

I think if you are a good enough team you should be able to adapt to 3g...... as far as teams not training on 3g, i feel most of the teams in west central scotland train on 3g these days!
