The Ayrshire AFA Select will play the Central Scottish AFL Select on Sunday 12th February, Kick off 2:00pm at Irvine Sports Club (Clark Drive AFC).

The match is for the John Smith's Brewers Trophy with the return match scheduled for Sunday 11th March at Colville Park, Motherwell kick-off 2:00pm

Ayrshire won the first of this season's two matches against the Central Scottish with a narrow victory at Irvine Sports Club this afternoon. Both teams were affected by call offs but the very young Ayrshire squad gained valuable experience at this level and every player deserves praise for sheer hard work and determination. The only goal of the match came early on thanks to an own goal. The Central side battled very hard to get back on level terms but resolute defending and a marvellous performance from goalie Darren Wilson kept them out. The visitors were also a credit to amateur football and the scene is now set for the return match to be played at Colville Park, Motherwell on Sunday 11th March.
