Just watched a wee bit of this game again. For the life of me I cannot understand how the officials can say that the Tottenham player at their first goal was not offside nor interfering with play while being in that position. He is in the six yard box, standing about 3 feet from the keeper when the ball comes in. Thoughts refs ?

Hi Wilson

I thought the striker moved to the side just as Kaboul was headering it thus giving the keeper a clear view.
If he had stayed exactly where he was when the corner was taken (which of course is not offside) then yes, it would have interfered with play as he would have obstructed the keeper's view and offside should have been awarded.

Good goal to me but what do other refs think?
