This one's for younger readers.
European Cup Final and he'd been a doubt with an ankle injury and so he was on the bench.
With 15 minutes to go his team were 2 - 0 down so he came on as a substitute and scored a hat trick. Name the player and if possible his club. Clues can be given if required and I'd appreciate it if the guys who've heard this old chestnut before would PM me with the answer.

Groans loudly..... I was racking my brains thinking who scored a hit-trick in the European Cup final.

I know that Ferenc Puskas scored the first ever (and it was at Hampden), and I'm sure that there have been a couple since.

Di Stefano scored a hat trick for Real Madrid, but I can't remember if it was in the final or semi-final.
