What are the rules in national competitions regarding reversing fixtures due to cancelled matches? I was under the impression it was 3 attempts for the home team then tie would switch to opposition team if unable to play match on 3rd attempt? :?: :?

I think the West/East cups are 3 games and then the fixture is switched. The Scottish I think you get 5 matches before it's switched. Not 100% sure though

I'm fairly sure the 3 strike rule applies in all cups but given the recent weather and with almost every game due to be played on grass called off I would imagine the rule won't be used this time. At least that would make sense.

To my knowledge and Im fairly sure, you get 3 attempts (west & Scottish), but you are allowed one additional chance should one of the 3 weeks be a 'white/wipe out' date, i.e a high percentage of games were off on a certain date.
Cardross had 4 attempts at our west tie, before we got the nod to switch to our home tie.

Interestingly, there was a previous post with the same topic, and it only takes a few teams to write to their league or straight to the Exec to propose a change to the '3 chances' rule. In my opinion 2 chances makes sense, given the shitty scottish weather and parks!!
