A player is suspended for 3 matches

One of the teams do not turn up to play on a dated league fixture for one of his suspended matches and the league award the points to his team.

Does this count as one of the matches he is suspended for?

Anyone know?

No. It has to be actual games played in most amateur leagues.

that is a shocking rule
say you had a player with a 1 match ban and was due to play a team in a league match and same side in a cup final next match. team dont turn up for league match and lose points but go into final knowing player will still be suspended

I agree derek, the player concerned knew he was going to miss a final, turned out he missed the final AND a semi final, rules are rules but to me its just not a fair rule. If the league count it as a game to award points then it should count as a played game towards his suspension. Commonsense?
