Here's an easy one to keep the brain cells alive -
We all know that if a player is injured and is treated on the park then the he must leave the field of play and be signalled to come back on by the referee. One exception is the goalkeeper (obviously), but can anyone think of another situation where a player or players would be allowed to stay on after being treated by the trainer?

When the team has only seven players left on the pitch due to injuries, sendings off and having used all their subs.

Sorry Bowser, I'm thinking about the situation where a player or players are injured and treated on the park by a physio or trainer and under normal circumstances they would have to go off to await the signal from the Ref to come back on, but in the circumstances I'm thinking about they would be allowed to stay on the pitch even although they did receive treatment.
What you're describing is where an injured player is unable to return and this would leave his team below the minimum 7 required.
Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly.
Come on Dougie, this should be easy for you!!! LOL

If the ref deems that, by removing the player from the park further injury may occur i.e. The player has injured his neck or spine.

Or:

If the referee has blown the final whistle for conclusion of the game.

2 or more players from same team. Then they can stay on park :)
