If a player registered to a amateur team has the chance to play at junior level doe,s he need to b released from his amateur status to actually register as junior or can he stay registered as an amateur but still sign to play junior?

You can play junior football and still remain as amateur status,making it easier if things don't work out you can get back to an amateur side without much trouble.He will not need to be released as such by the amateur side.

Can't a Junior team sign you to an amateur contract? Pretty sure I've heard of that, then when someone else comes sniffing around the Junior team signing you to Junior contract in some instances.
