Excellent performance in the 1st half saw Wellhouse take a slender 1-0 lead through an Andrew Dorrans penalty which in truth looked harsh on the FPs defender Wull Montgomery who couldn't believe the decision and earned himself a booking for his protests. In truth the game should have been beyond us at half time with Sinclair, Stewart and Upton all squandering excellent chances for Wellhouse to put the game beyond our reach as we struggled to find our feet after the lengthy break. Far better performance in the 2nd half as we managed to stop the chances somewhat that Wellhouse had been creating all too easily in the 1st 45 minutes and FPs midfielder Brett Ansell pulled us level with 15 minutes to go with a well taken goal from 8 yards. Extra time and Wellhouse won it with a superbly taken header from Lewis Stewart in the 2nd period of the e/t to send Wellhouse into round 5. Hard fought encounter on a difficult surface and credit to both sets of players for commitment and effort in the conditions. Good luck to Wellhouse in the next round and all the best for the rest of the season.

cheers gav..and the report about game is spot on,penalty was very soft , yes..thought the referee did not allow game to flow and some of his decisions were harsh on the players as there was not 1 bad foul in the game , couple of meaty tackles yes but fair..great big park. but defo needs rolled as it did not help both teams that tried to get ball down and play football..

The ref was a joke. He shouldn't be reffing at 5 a side never decent amateur level

we all give refs stick and is a very hard job they have on there hands,especially if there no lineman there to help,but with this referee , he came into our dressing room for a chat and he lost the plot on that. the only time the players gave him a hard time was with HIS strange decissions...

Ufft a got benched that game (mibbi ye didny see me for ma petted lip!) Came on just after half time with u's 1 nil up. Aye u's had yer chances that day but thats fitba eh.
Na, no been playin Sunday - too auld!! Helped out for 2 or 3 games but canny commit.

feck aye m8..we have them in west aswell down there again..but were confident enough to beat any team just now..

I think that is a bit premature on your behalf. We have still to play Hurlford in the West beforehand but like them you seem to be forgetting about that game. According to them they have Wellhouse twice as well haha

Aye am sure Bannockburn and Greenock will have something to say bout that aswell to be fair, all really good teams, just need to see what happens.
