i heard from both sides milngavie where unlucky not to win the game, better team on the day and missed a great chance in the last minute to win it. they had a problem all season losing cheap goals and heard that was the case yesterday.
milngavie have a couple of quality players and if they could maybe add a couple of more they would be a really good team.

giffnock on the other hand have showed that they can still pick points up when the are not at there best, imo still the favs for the league and wish them all the best against colville this saturday.

Gartcosh 1 v 2 Pollock (AET 1-1 after 90 mins)

Game was played on a really heavy park and ended up a tough game for both sides. Really disappointed getting beat as I think we deserved more from the game. We played the last 10 minutes of normal time and the whole of extra time with 10 men due to an injury to one of our defenders after using our 3 subs. In the end I think that was the difference between the 2 sides on the day as the heavy park took its toll.

I thought the referee was pretty poor, too quick to blow for fouls when he could have played advantage.

All the best to Rab and Pollock for the rest of the season and good to see some old faces.

Milingavie played really well and have added a 3 at least 9, 7 and 10 that I could see who will make a difference to them if they keep those boys and add a couple more they will climb up the league in my opinion all the best to them for the rest of the season.

was at the giffnock v milngavie myself the other day. know the manager of milngavie and a few of the boys. they have been trounced week in week out in recent months since all the comotion at the beginning of the season but have also put in a few decent performances against good sides only to lose narrowly (giving away cheap chaep goals like ye say ty123). the 4 giffnock goals were blunders from milngavie! not only that they were the better team on the day and missed 3 sitters! all tha in mind they lost 8-2 to the same side just 3 weeks previous! probably only have and have had a squad of 12/13 and even at that theres a been a few injured, suspended and missing due to work so it's no been easy for them. they are as you say a pretty decent team with some good players, sorting out defensively preventing themselves giving away needless cheap goals and adding a few experienced bodies to a young young side and i would say they could give anyone in th premier a game. IMO though they will defo go down, could be a blessing in disguise n order of a fresh start and regrouping. watch out for them next season i say! i would also agree with ye that giffnock are favs to win the league but i have just about seen all the sides in the premier and the 1 that stands out is glasgow harp! well run club, good players in every position and not surprised to see them do well in the scottish and west cups.

Outsider I think you have made a few good points there, Milingavie played well and deserved there draw. Yes you are right they did miss 3 good chances, but I can think of at least 3 for giffnock to. Also to say every goal was a gift for giffnock is not true we scored from 2 corners and 2 individual goals from a very good player so I don't know what you mean with that, a draw was a fair result in a game which had chances for both teams.

Greig is it true that there have been a bunch of junior/senior clubs up watching your striker?

yeah theres no doubt about your striker is a rare player but i thought the wee guy they put on him on sat got the better of him were as 3 weeks previous he tore the other defender to pieces! it seems quite astonishing to say that a team that lost 8-2 to use only weeks prior deserved to beat use but they absoloutely did! on the day i mean..thought they battled extremely hard all over the park and used the ball well for a change but the 4 goals were 2 blunders from the centre half and the other 2 the keeper was at fault for. it's a regular occurance with milngavie giving away needless cheap goals week in week out. not to cause argument or be disrespectful or anything am just saying it as it was on sat and although it was their 1st point on the board (astonishly!) they will be disappointed they didn't take all 3 points especially at being in front 3 times!
