Wishaw High School FPs 0 v 0 Arthurlie AFC

Disapointing result from our perspective as we missed a penalty with 12 minutes to go or rather Arthurlie keeper pulled of a magnificent save. Scoreline says it all though. Honestly can't remember the last time we were involved in a 0-0.

Colville 2 v whitefield 1!! Didn't want to say too much before but I'd love to know how this clubs park with groundsman was off today?? Bit of underhand tactics here I think!! Also hearing there was no hospitality put on after Scottish tie today! Exactly what you want to hear from one of the big guns!!! Anyway great to see one of the sat morning teams running your big boys close!! Great effort whitefield!

you should have beat them last week and you wouldnt have needed to worry, imo its up to them where they want to play the game and if changing it to a park that may suit them better then so be, u lot must be a good side to have ran one of the top sides in amateur football this close . will defo be a team to watch out for.

snapper, thats the joys of been drawn at home, you can play your home game where ever you like its your call, so fair play to colvilles its obviously worked, plus am sure whitefield had same oportunity last week so dont really get what your getting at here bud.

Scottish Cup 6th Round
Campsie Minerva 1-2 Drumchapel United

Before the report starts if they was ever a time to use your get out of "JAIL" free card we used it today.

The game today was a tight match the game was goalless at half time, the 2nd half seen both clubs going at each other but it was a stuffy match and with 17 minutes to go Campsie went 1 nil in front when a cross was touched into the net, Drumchapel made a doiuble change and pushed the game towards the Campsie Minerva goal only to see the final pass fail, however the Campsie goalkeeper was in good form as he shoved a goal bound shot from Graig Rooney over the bar, but his only mistake was allowing the ball go between his legs and the ball was struck into the net by James Mulvay to level the game with 2 minutes to go, at this point Drumchapel United Manager John Black would have settled for the draw and a replay, the referee played 4 and half minutes injury time and during that time Drumchapel United got a corner and as the cross was headed goalward again by Craig Rooney the keeper blocked this header the first person to react to the rebound was Mikey Brown with his head and the ball went in to make it 2-1 to Drumchapel United with scenes of joy from the Drumchapel United sidelines, the final whistle sounded not long after this and it was Drumchapel United the happier team of the two.

As both teams left the pitch everyone involved with Campsie Minerav AFC to a man all shook hands with the Drumchapel United AFC players and sidelines.

All at Drumchapel United AFC would like to wish ALL at Campsie Minerva AFC all the best for the rest of thier season, and the hospitality afforded to us was well appreciated.

Sending this from Istanbul as you know. As a club we appreciate your complimentary comments and from what I can gather we were unlucky as you say. Our aim at Campsie is to compete at the highest level, I hope we learn from this today.

Wilson

Danny, you mean the opportunity to switch to a 3g when the grass was in doubt? Remind me again where the first game was due to be played and where it took place? :o

Linwood 5-0 redbrae league 1a
A shaky start from us today I must say but a well organised 1st half from redbrae, better side than when we played earlier in season.Much better 2nd half tho n their heads went down after the 3rd. Can still play a hell of a lot better!! :o

Took in Minerva v Drum today...

I honestly thought minerva were gonna hold on as The drum looked seriously lacking in the final third, although Tate in minerva goals made a couple of decent saves.

However it was the keepers calamitus effort that allowed the drum back into the game, and as for mulvey nipping in and firing it in.... (It was already over the line!!)

Te drum then pushed hard and got the winner with a couple to spare to spark wild scenes as the minerva faithful started to disperese.

Best part was the man with his vuvuzela, standing alone at the minerva side of the pitch singing "we can see you sneaking out" lol...

Minerva will feel hard done to, but the drum the better team on the day.
