Ashvale
Harp
Steins
Drum Utd
Colville
Eastvale
Postal
Hurlford

Interesting draw, Drum Utd/St Pats or Bannockburn will see 2 of the more favoured clubs out. Gives an opportunity for some others to get through and you never know what wil come out of the draw.......................

Well I will start by saying well done to postal as I pyedicted them to lose their game in an earlier post although I still don't see them beating uddingston but what do I know as another one of my predictions (stiens) went out as well so I will go again and see how close I am this time.
7 homes and. 1 away(hurlford)

Corona, firstly thanks for your praise after backing against us, so are you taking us to beat uddingston or not :?: and what do you base this on :?: , you say you don't see us beating uddingston but then you say 7 homes and 1 away! :?

Budandavodka I think you will lose to uddingston I base this on the fact they play in a better league and they r top half in the league also heard they r a strong aggresive team that doesnt give you time on the ball with afew good players thwt like to play football. I also predicted 7 homes because once they put yous out they will also see of dennistoun more comfy than yous

So you've not seen them personally, thats reassuring!

We prefer being the underdog so we'll take that and see what happens on Sat!

Time will tell.

Who do u play for or are u just a follower of the amateur game?

Budandavodka you're hardly the underdogs. I would go as far to say you were strong favourites. Semi's of the Scottish and league winners last year and already won the SAFL Centenery Cup this season and still unbeaten in the league so picked up where you left off last season if not improved.

misstrawilson,we just take one game at a time and try not get too ahead of ourselves, we are still building towards hopefully regularly competing in latter stages of the cup competitions but the cup can through up anything, its all on the day.

I certainly don't think we can be classed as favourites on Sat as afterall we are up against a team from the countries best league!

Cheers

I was just stating that ithought uddingston would win the tie but it looks like I am in minority so let's just see what other people think on the game. If anybody else has an opinion on this tie let's get involved

Admin FC There's not much to report on the game, it was very stuffy, conditions played their part, and it was easy to see neither team had played properly for 5 weeks. Postal started well, got into a rhythm, but the lack of a goal let Netherthird back into the game. It was obvious they were missing the threat of their left winger though. We were mostly comfortable and our first goal (albeit scrappy) was always coming. After that it was a matter of time before we got a second (great header). Then they brought on the big guy up front and long balls became order of the day with the wind at their backs. Poor defending let them back into it with a late goal, but that aside we were reasonably comfortable. (I'm sure they'll have a different view on it mind you) Oh, and I was brilliant. (except for the build up to their goal)

good to know we're still allowed sarcasm here now and then. The rest of the match report wasn't far off in my opinion tho. (and their goal was my fault)
