Cambusbarron 5 Oban Saints 2. Rovers 4-0 up at half-time. Oban were not a bad side but the Rovers thoroughly deserved the victory.

Heard cambusbarron took their chances well and played some good football. Oban played some good stuff and applied a bit of pressure second half but cambusbarron deserving winners overall.

Worst conditions experienced in amo football. Park was fit for Pigs, and there wont be a game on that park for a while.

We took a bit of a gamble in playing on the grass rather than the 3G, unfortunately that did not pay off, the heavy rain which started just before kick off put paid to that. Grass has a great capacity to repair itself, and hopefully we will be able to get back on it sooner rather than later. Game was played in a good spirit and Ashvale deserved their win. All the best to them for the rest of the competiton, quarter finals spot at least is my opinion.
